Back in the 1800s, during the wild days of the Texas Revolution, a legend emerged—James Bowie. His name became known far and wide after a brutal fight that started as a simple duel on a sandbar along the Mississippi River. Things escalated fast. Bowie was shot in the hip, clubbed in the head with a pistol, and even stabbed with a sword cane. But in a move straight out of folklore, he grabbed the man attacking him, pulled him down, and drove his knife deep into his chest—ending the fight in one final thrust.
Even after being shot again and stabbed in the back, Bowie didn’t go down. He survived it all, and from that point on, his knife—and his name—carried weight.
Fast-forward almost 200 years, and the Bowie Knife still lives on, only now with modern improvements. This version features a unique “DAAB” (Dual Angle Approach Blade), which gives you tighter edge control for carving or slicing. It's not just a tribute to history—it’s a seriously useful tool for hunters, collectors, and knife lovers.
No two knives are the same. That’s the charm. Since we use natural materials and handcraft every piece, slight variations in the blade’s pattern, color, or handle finish are to be expected. What you get might look a bit different from the photos—but it’ll be just as well-made, and 100% yours.
The included leather sheath may vary a bit in color or style from what’s shown in the pictures. That’s just the nature of handcrafted items. If you have any questions about the sheath or want something specific, just reach out—we’re happy to help however we can.
This knife is made with high-carbon 1095 Damascus steel, which is incredibly tough—but it does need a little care. After each use, make sure to dry the blade completely and apply a light coat of oil to prevent rust. Wash it by hand only (warm water and mild soap will do), and never leave it soaking. With just a bit of regular care, this knife will serve you well for years.
