Inspired by the legendary Danish explorer Lorenz Peter Elfred Freuchen, this handmade Damascus steel EDC folding knife is crafted for adventurers who refuse to compromise. Whether you're trekking through wilderness or adding to your collection, the Freuchen Folding Knife delivers unmatched performance in a compact, bold design.
Each blade is forged from 128 layers of 1095/15n20 Damascus steel in a stunning twist pattern. The 3” blade boasts a secondary bevel grind and 3mm thickness for precision and durability. The handle is carved from rich wenge wood, offering a secure and tactile grip for daily carry and demanding conditions alike.
We named this knife after Freuchen—a man who once escaped a blizzard by chiseling his way out with a handmade shank, survived gangrene by amputating his own toes with pliers, and lived life on the edge with grit and fearlessness. This knife is a tribute to that legacy—rugged, resilient, and built to endure.
Includes: Full-grain leather sheath and premium wooden presentation box.
As a high-carbon blade, your Freuchen knife requires care to preserve its integrity. Hand wash only with soap and warm water. Dry thoroughly and apply a light oil after each use to prevent rust. Never soak or dishwash.
Each knife is individually handmade from natural materials. Expect slight variations in Damascus patterns, wood grain, and sheath design. Your piece will be one of a kind—crafted with the same dedication to detail and quality as shown.
