This isn't just a knife — it's a tribute to a true warrior. Inspired by the legacy of Kimura Shigenari, a legendary 17th-century samurai, this blade embodies courage, loyalty, and a readiness to face any challenge head-on.

At the age of only 21, Shigenari commanded troops in the Winter Siege of Osaka, earning such respect that Lord Hideyori himself called him a "peerless hero." As a token of honor, Hideyori offered him a sword forged by the master Masamune. True to his character, Shigenari returned it out of loyalty to the Toyotomi clan.

Just a year later, during the Summer Siege, Kimura led his men once more, fighting from the front. He fell in battle, but not without honor. Legends say he placed incense in his helmet and trimmed his hair before the fight — signs of a man who expected to die with dignity.

That same spirit lives in this blade. Though it's not built in the traditional Japanese tanto style, it proudly bears Kimura's name. This modern tanto features a fierce combination: a tanto tip for penetration, a saw edge for utility, and a large, finger-grooved handle that locks into your hand. Built for close-quarters and harsh use, it’s made to perform when failure isn't an option.

Knife Care & Maintenance:

Damascus steel made with 1095 high-carbon requires a little love to stay at its best:

• Wash by hand with warm water and mild soap. Never use a dishwasher.
• Dry it completely after every use.
• Before storing, lightly oil the blade to protect it from rust.
• Make sure it’s dry before you oil it — moisture trapped under oil can cause corrosion.
