They don’t make ‘em like this anymore. Inspired by the legendary Viking warrior Bjorn Ironside, this knife has grit, history, and power written all over it. You’ve probably heard the old story—Bjorn’s crew couldn’t break into a city, so he faked his own death. His men begged local priests to bury their fallen leader inside the city walls. Once inside, Bjorn jumped out of the coffin, blade in hand, and opened the gates from the inside. Total chaos followed. After years of raiding through Europe and North Africa, he finally retired to Scandinavia, wealthy and satisfied.
This blade? It’s got that same spirit—smart, strong, and ready for anything.
Look, this isn’t a museum piece—it’s made to be used. That said, it’s a damn good-looking knife. It’s got serious weight when you hold it, the kind of heft that makes you feel ready to take on whatever’s in front of you. The curved drop-point blade makes precise cuts a breeze, while the offset sawback edge means you can rip through branches or rope with no problem. The Micarta handle is grippy and rugged, even when wet. And that raindrop Damascus steel? No two blades look exactly alike.
Because each knife is handmade and uses natural materials, yours won’t look exactly like the one in the photo—and that’s the beauty of it. Every blade has its own character. What you will get is the same level of care, skill, and attention to detail that we put into every piece we make.
Your sheath might look a bit different than the one pictured. The color or style can vary slightly depending on what materials we have available. Got a question or special request? Drop us a message—we’re always happy to help.
One thing to know: 1095 high-carbon steel is tough as nails, but it can rust if you don’t take care of it. Hand wash it with hot water and mild soap. Dry it off completely, then give it a light coat of oil before putting it away. Treat it right, and it’ll stay sharp and beautiful for years.
